Transcript
Before there is structure, there is polarity. The simplest harmonic in music is the octave. The same note, twice. One vibrating at half the frequency of the other. Two to one. Same song, different register. This is the first overtone. The pattern that makes structure possible. In your blueprint, polarity is everywhere. Defined and undefined. Conscious and unconscious. Personality and design. The black side of your chart and the red side. Every part of your architecture has two registers, one inside the other, both vibrating the same essential note. This is not opposition. Opposition cancels. Polarity completes. A magnet does not work by one pole defeating the other. It works because both poles are present. The current flows because the difference holds. Your defined centers are one register of your design. Your undefined centers are the same design, in the other register. The signal you broadcast and the field you receive are not separate selves. They are the two sides of one architecture. The practice is not to resolve the polarity. The practice is to inhabit it. When you stop trying to make the undefined become defined, when you stop fighting the open places, the dance begins. The signal speaks. The reception listens. The current flows. This is the first overtone of your design.
