Capricast respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”, 17 U.S.C. § 512).
Reporting infringement
If you believe content on Capricast infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our Designated Agent that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
- identification of the material you claim is infringing and its URL(s) on Capricast;
- your name, address, telephone number, and email;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

Counter-notification
If your content was removed and you believe it was removed in error or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to the Designated Agent that includes your signature, identification of the removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your name, address, phone number, and consent to jurisdiction.
Repeat infringers
We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
